Este filme conta a história de Bobby Boucher, o rapaz que serve agua nos treinos de futebol.

Quando Bobby é despedido da equipa que durante anos o ofendeu e gozou, não sossegou até encontrar outra onde pudesse trabalhar.

Na nova equipa o treinador Klein apercebeu-se que Bobby tem um dom, e convida-o para fazer parte da sua equipa, mas desta vez, como jogador.
